History:
I was first born to two parents who lived for Quidditch. I had my first broom the day I was born. Of course I wasn't able to ride it for a few more years, but I did have my own. My dad played professionally for Pride of Portree. He was good as a keeper. I play keeper for Gryffindor now following in my dad's footsteps. My mom played as a chaser. She actually played professionally till she got pregnant with me. She never regretted quitting though. She says she loves me and my siblings unconditionally.
My parents fought at the Battle of Hogwarts. They lost friends that day that they still talk about. Every year Headmistress McGonagall holds a memorial ceremony for the fallen ones. This next year will be the twenty-fifth anniversary, and my parents are already helping plan the occasion. My parents are older than Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Weasley and Ginny Potter, but they are all good friends.
My first magical abilities were getting a broom to go up and jump on flying as if I were born to it, but I probably was with my parents always on broomsticks. I loved to watch my dad play professionally only I was itching to be up there with him. I could hardly sit still in my seat. My mom threatened to use magic to keep me in my seat so I didn't fall out of the stands.
I was excited to get my Hogwarts letter when I turned eleven. I couldn't wait to go there. It was fun going to Diagon Alley to get the supplies I needed. My first wand and my owl who I just call Owl. I couldn't think of anything else. A few days later I was off on the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I couldn't believe I was already on my way. It took hours to get there, but we had fun in our compartment on the way there.
I was sorted right into Gryffindor! Both of my parents had been in Gryffindor so there really was not thought on the matter. I was Gryffindor through and through. Neville was the head of Gryffindor that was friends with my parents too. I made a mental note to send Owl to let my parents know I was in Gryffindor!
That mental note didn't come back to me till a few days later. I'd been having so much fun that I had totally forgotten. I ran up to the Owlery right away and sent Owl with a note to tell my parents. They probably already knew through the grapevine, but I had told them I would let them know.
First year went by way to fast. I was saying goodbye to my friends. Though it really wasn't since we all got together a lot over the summer vacation. The summer flew by, and I was heading back to Hogwarts. This year I was going to get to try out for Quidditch I couldn't wait! There was a lot of competition though I knew. I couldn't believe it when I was actually accepted for the keeper position. The Matheson's pretty much took up the team. There were five of them so that left two open spots that year.
The years flew by after that. Now it's my last year, and I don't want it to end. Oh I do want to play professional Quidditch next year, but this was my home away from home. I'll have to suck it up though and get over it. I do plan on making this the best year at Hogwarts yet!

Angel walked into the Gryffindor Common room having missed all the chaos that had just happened. She was tired, but not that tired. She’d been out practicing for Quidditch and her mind was still on that. What she had done wrong, what she could improve on, and trying to think of new ways to score this year. She looked around then as if waking from a dream hearing the noises from the common room. She didn’t even remember the walk up from the Quidditch Pitch as her mind had been on Quidditch. Shaking her head as if to clear it she made her way over to an oversized chair by the fireplace and plopped down on it. Turning sideways she threw her long legs over the arm of the chair.
Almost immediately a black cat leaped up on her and curled into her. Angel smiled and hugged the cat to her. “Hey Tank Have. You been a good boy?” She asked him as she petted him, and he purred loudly, vibrating slightly against her from the purrs. She stroked his black silky hair on his back and he was more than content. A thought occurred that she should go take a shower, but she was wanting to move just yet wanting to sit for a bit with the others in the common room.
“Hey Molly.” She greeted one of her roommates sitting there. The girl had red hair like a lot of the other Weasley kids. She was a really nice girl, and she got along with her alright. They’d never really gotten close though since Angel was usually with the guys hanging out. Today she’d gone off on her own to work some kinks out on some moves her older brothers had taught her so she had no idea where the guys were. So might as well hang out in the common room she figured. “It’s a beautiful day outside. Have you been out at all?” She looked over at the redhead.
This was unlike herself as she usually stayed out till it was dark practicing, but not today. She’d gotten what she wanted worked out, and it was boring being out by herself. Something she wasn’t used to either at home or here at Hogwarts. She felt a need to be by others and had decided the Common room would be the perfect spot. She was here now, and glad that she had decided to do this. It reminded her of home. Where her parents were probably sitting by the crackling fire discussing the day. Her older brothers sprawled out somewhere on the numerous couches and chairs. A couple of them half dozing while the other two were discussing Quidditch maneuvers.
The chaos in the Common room pulled her back from her daydream that made her feel a bit homesick, but she quickly pushed it away looking around the room at the other Gryffindor's. A few of the first years waved at her and she waved back at them with a smile. As a prefect she enjoyed working with the younger kids helping them out when they needed help. Even with her busy schedule she made time for them. Some of them were homesick and she’d comfort them when needed.
